I have some great news to share with you!
Based on feedback that you and other teachers shared with our team, Khan Academy has just launched a new feature that will allow you to schedule assignments for a future date! We know that things are constantly changing in the classroom, and we wanted to make it easier for you to adjust course when you need to!
In addition to that feature, we’ve added the ability to edit multiple assignments at once. We hope you will enjoy these new features, and we welcome any feedback you have about them.
Most importantly, we want to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback to help make Khan Academy a better learning resource for everyone. We take all feedback to heart and appreciate you sharing your ideas with us.
If it’s been a while, and you need a refresher on using Khan Academy, I highly recommend our course, Khan for Educators. This is a dedicated course for teachers getting started at Khan Academy. It’s composed of seven lessons that explore everything from getting started to classroom implementation and diving deep into Khan Academy’s teacher reports.

That is not an acceptable work-around. Teachers NEED to be able to future-date assignments to release on a specific date. We don't always have the time to go into our saved assignments, then click on it to make it go live, especially now with distance learning. Please add this feature which has been requested for over 3 years.
