Finite fields (Galois fields)

That is certainly an interesting topic and something new for Khan Academy to add. Do you have any specific preferences as to how content on finite fields should be structured? Is there anything you would like to see an emphasis on? 

I personally like to include how I would want to see what I request and will often make revisions and updates. This is an effective way to get community members more involved in advocating for specific content and can help shape what Khan Academy will take heed of when building the content.

There are no doubt many others that want the same content, so always feel free to put out your own ideas. I have found that this often sparks even more passionate support that can culminate into a sizeable following.

I think it would be great to show how to construct various finite fields. Show why some fields are impossible. Explain why irreducible polynomials are needed and how to find them, how to prove they are irreducible, prove that for valid finite fields such polynomials exist.
