You can access the hints before moving on to the next question (or the end of the practice). Just be sure to look for the hints link before hitting the button for Next Question or See Summary. You may need to scroll down the screen before you can see the link for the hints.

You will need to dismiss the “balloon” message that accompanies “Try Again” before being able to click on the hints link or to scroll down to see this link.

Also, if you have already entered a new response, clicked on Check, and seen that you got the answer correct, you can still see the hints link (or scroll down to see it), even though you got the answer right. Sometimes when you get the correct answer (even on the first try), the “encouragement balloon” (phrase I just made up) above Next Question or See Summary has a portion you can click on to see how Khan Academy did the problem step-by-step. This is the same as clicking on the hints link. Just be sure you aren’t too quick to click on Next Question or See Summary or you’ll miss your opportunity to see this.
