Humans aren't machines

I can't 100% unit tests because of small mistakes which don't reflect how solving problems is done in real life. 

In real life, you make a mistake, see that it's wrong, and self correct. I'm very good at self correcting because I'm not the most precise person. I get to the same right answers as everyone else, my fundamentals are solid, but I forget to convert a unit from hours to minutes on the 9th / 9 questions, and I have to go through the whole thing again to try and get 100%.

Is getting 100% even worth it? Should I just move on?

I think that somehow, space needs to be made to allow for mistakes, or some other metric should be used to signal to a student to progress to the next unit, which isn't either "get 100% on this unit test" or "move on when you feel you are ready", which is either too objective, or too subjective, respectively.
