WHAT ARE THESE BADGES?

I think the "(old)" at the end of the name means that the badge has been retired and can no longer be earned.

They're the old versions of the mastery badges, you can see that they say "proficiency" instead of "mastery". They were retired in favor of the mastery badges.

And the old version of Atlas has a hidden description.

All it says is "???"

Can you decipher this cryptic message?

Apparently old Atlas was equal to the retired Da Vinci badge, both required 500 mastered skills, correct me if I'm wrong

Update: apparently Atlas (old) required 500 proficient skills, not mastered, and Da Vinci was 500 mastered skills

What do you mean? They look exactly the same to me, except that they changed proficiency to mastery, and gave each of the badges they’re own symbols?

I’ve heard that the black hole badges are climbing in skills, but apart from that everything’s the same?

And the atlas has always had that ??? on it, right? All of the black hole badges except for the one for level 100 have ?s on them, no? At least that’s what I see when I look at my badges.

Try looking at the descriptions for Herculean, Galileo, and Is Sal, and see if these badges have that ??? on them.

As for existing badges, Sally Ride, Kepler, Hypatia, and Artemis don't have old versions.
