Hello. I am a teacher and I have my students complete certain Khan Academy assignments over the summer. This year I thought I had found a way to use the same assignments from last year by just deleting the students from last year and then creating a new due date for the class codes. Unfortunately the classes are not showing up in the students' dashboard and neither are the assignments. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks!
Hi Helen,
Did you add the new students before changing the due dates? New students won't be added to past due assignments when they join a class, so that may be why they aren't seeing the assignments.
If that's the case, you will need to remove all of the new students and then re-add them to the classes.
To remove the students, go to the Students tab in the class:
- Select all students using the top checkbox
- Click Actions --> Remove from class
To add them back in, go to the Teacher Dashboard and click the students tab:
- Select the checkboxes next to the students you want to add for one class
- Click Actions --> Add to class
- Select the correct class in the popup and click Add
