Open Crowdsource like Initiative to Normalize older Videos in Khan Academy
Greetings,
This is a proposal. In order to improve the quality of existing Khan Academy videos, I request that Khan Academy may make available an option to let viewers and pretty much anyone contributes to improving the quality of videos.
The workflow:
1. Interested Individuals given an option to enable their Khan Academy ID's as crowdsource participants (this may be verified by some way for example minimum energy points requirement)
2. These ID's have access to download the existing videos of KhanAcademy.
3. Without changing the content of the video, individuals may make changes like Normalizing Audio and other minor changes that may go a long way.
4. A place to reupload where the video may get verified and get to replace the original video.
I'm proposing this as a crowdsourcing initiative (Maybe I'm using the word loosely here) as this may be a very tedious process to be done by a few individuals. People viewing the existing content, if they feel the necessity to improve the video and have the required skillset may do so and this will help the overall quality of videos improve.
I'm looking forward to Normalizing Audio of Videos in Khan Academy that've been here since around 2013 which are yet very useful no matter the time.
Thank You,
