I am an adult learner coming back to math at 40. I struggled with math in school, even when truly trying and have shied away from it since... and have had life and career limitations because of it. The way this site is set up is very helpful and I've found my starting point and direction here, but if anyone can offer a method for optimizing my time spent here and making serious progress, I'd be grateful.

I'm happy to hear Khan Academy is helping you! In each Math Grade, there are different sections (they will have a title such as "Geometry", or "Intro to dividing Fractions". The best way to learn is to start at the first section of whatever grade you're in, and once you complete the practice tests, quizzes, and unit tests in that section, then move on to the next section. Keep going through and completing each section, and you will then master the entire grade level. I hope this answer was useful! Let me know if you have any more questions.
