I am loving the new ELA content for 5th grade, but I'm disappointed in the choice of text for the "Imaginative Worlds" unit. Peter Pan is an outdated and racist text. There are SO many more appropriate (updated, inclusive, non-racist...) texts y'all could have used for this unit. Looking forward to seeing some revisions that reflect a more progressive 21st century sensibility.
