Hi m.rice75032,
The only engineering course available on Khan Academy right now is electrical engineering. That course can be found all the way on the bottom of the "Science and Engineering" courses tab, or you can follow this link. However, the partner content has some good engineering resources, too. For the ones related to science and engineering, you can scroll all the way down on the "Science and Engineering" page, or follow this link.
If you have suggestions on more engineering courses that you would like to see on Khan Academy, or how you would like them to be structured, feel free to share them here! Khan Academy is always looking for ways to improve, and feedback from the community really helps.
Have a good day,
Allison
Thanks Khan Academy, I have gone through your NASA partner content and I have learnt interesting stuff about Mars and space travel.
I work for a similar organisation to NASA in my country Nigeria, but I don't have a background in aerospace engineering.
I want to ask if I can be mentored by one of your volunteers from NASA or anyone vast in the nitty gritty of aerospace engineering. Thanks
Hello,
I'm glad you enjoy the partner content! That's one of my favorite areas on Khan Academy.
As of now, I'm not aware of any opportunities through Khan Academy where you can be mentored by anyone at NASA- they just provided the content for the course. I would recommend going to NASA's website to see if they have any similar opportunities or workshops.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
If you're interested in learning about space and the universe, I'd recommend the Khan Academy cosmology and astronomy course too: https://www.khanacademy.org/science/physics/cosmology-and-astronomy. You can also check out the Big History Project partner content which goes over the history of the universe and explains it in a very structured way: https://www.khanacademy.org/partner-content/big-history-project.
Along with the other science and engineering content, these are some more great resources.
Happy Learning!
