Hello,

First, let me say how grateful I am for the work you do at Khan Academy. I love using it for assigning my students practice questions and I very much appreciate how I am able to keep track of their progress.

I teach in Ontario and can not assign courses but do assign practice almost daily. Currently that means I have to start by giving a due date that is months ahead of the end of the course and work my way backwards to ensure that assignments stay in the order I have assigned them. I have found it to be very confusing for students but I still want my students to have access to them after the due date.

My one suggestion that would make my life (and I am sure many teachers who can not assign a whole course at a time) easier is that there be another choice for organizing assignments - by the date I assigned them OR by due date - teachers choice.

I also teach in Ontario. I completely agree with you Aja. Khan Academy is doing an awesome job! I love that they have developed the courses geared for Ontario students. Unfortunately I haven't figured out a way to assign the Ontario courses to students. So far I do what you describe, give assignments one by one but I've found that students don't see them in the order I am assigning them.

My first suggestion is to of course give access to teachers to assign all the courses available in Khan Academy, like the Ontario ones for example so they can work their way up to Mastery. And like you suggest, allow teachers to organize assignments so students see them in the same order teachers have assigned them.
