I have been studying for the LSAT for a few months now, and in any full exam or timed sections I have always printed out the materials and mimicked the testing environment as much as possible. I was not expecting having to take the exam online on my laptop, so this threw me off a lot and I sort of feel as if I lost some energy/motivation because I did not enjoy taking a full exam on my laptop. There could not be a less realistic way to take a practice exam. I would have liked the option of printing out the diagnostic with a bubble sheet to then go in and enter after.

I 100% agree--printable tests with the ability to input your answers needs to be an option here. There is plenty of evidence that mimicking the test setting as much as possible is hugely important when training for a specialized exam like this. I want to keep taking my paper exams like I was before, but I love that the website highlights what I am missing. Printable + input would be the best of both worlds.

Thanks for your feedback! We understand that taking the test on the computer is very different than on paper and pencil. We’ll continue to find ways to make the system better prepare students for what they’ll actually see on test day.
