Losing Mastery
When Children lose their mastery they can lose focus in class because they are focusing on another topic while the class is doing a totally different topic.

If this post covers a topic that you’re interested in discussing with the community or requests a feature you’d like to see on Khan Academy, you can try to find an active post about it and add your thoughts (or feel free or create a new post if it doesn’t yet exist in the forum).
I understand your request and it makes sense. I do think though it's good to review old skills just to make sure you still know them.
I'm an adult, and nothing pisses me off more than this. Here's what just happened to me:
I was taking a quiz, and I made a simple math error on the first problem. Knowing this would already prevent me from leveling up, I attempted to exit the quiz. Of course, it's not so easy - the quiz resumes where it left off. So I quickly filled in wrong answers to the rest of the questions so that I could try again to level up. But you can guess what happened next. I lost mastery points.
This is seriously, seriously, seriously frustrating and demotivating. I master skills long before Khan Academy allows me to *achieve mastery*. If I want Khan Academy to actually acknowledge that I've mastered a topic, I need to sit here and take the stupid quiz over and over until I don't make any simple mistakes. But instead of wasting my time doing that, I simply don't *master* it, and I move onto the next section, which defeats the entire purpose of Khan Academy managing my progress for me.
Please consider allowing people to exit/restart a quiz, at least. Or better yet, remove this demotivating feature.
