I need a subtitle, not transcript in App
In IPAD App, I cannot use English subtitles in my Khan academy videos.
Subtitles are very important for my learning, Because I am not a native English speaker.
please think about my option. thanks for reading

Hi eshinnes,
I agree, subtitles would be nice to have in the mobile app. Until this feature is added you can watch the KA videos through the YouTube app, which will allow you to use subtitles. You can also use subtitles when using KA on a computer.
I can not use subtitles in KA computer now. Please fix it, thank you so much
Are you looking for subtitles which translate the spoken words of a video to another language and put them onto the screen, or subtitles, also known as captions, which put the spoken words of a video onto the screen in the language in which they are spoken? If it is the latter you are looking for, you CAN do this in the iPad app.
Here is how to do it. When you are playing a video in the iPad app, tap on the screen to show the time elapsed bar along the bottom of the video screen, as well as some icons in the bottom right corner. The icon just to the right of the time elapsed bar is shaped like one of those balloons you see in comics that contain the spoken words of characters. This is a toggle on and off switch for same language subtitles/captions. To turn off the subtitles/captions, click on this balloon-like icon again.
I had the same problem and here it is what I did to solve this in my laptop:
1. on the upper-right corner of the video, click on : "go to lesson page"
2. then you have two options:
A. there will be a tab below the video marked as "transcript"; click on it, and you'll have the entire translation of the video
B. on the bottom-right outside corner of the video, there is a really small option marked as "switch to full player"; click on it and the cc option now will be shown on the video toolbar options
Hope this will be helpful for other users.
Thank you so much Fabián Antonio Silva Sandoval and Regina Litman!
Khan Academy, could you please make this option more obvious?
Edit:
The full video player is also a great way to get better sound control because now you can control the sound of the video itself as well as the sound on your computer/headphones. Really useful since I've been having sound sensitivity issues lately. I kept accidentally muting the video before because I could only control the volume of my computer/headphones and couldn't get it low enough to be comfortable. Now I can control the volume of the video and the computer/headphones. :)
