My son is trying to complete the Math 8 course over the next six weeks. I think he's now at 30% completion. Does anyone know approximately how many hours it takes to complete all of Math 8? I understand everyone works at a different pace, but I'm trying to get an estimate so he can budget his time. Thanks!

For me as a self-learner it took me for certain lessons a commitment of 2 hours a day. It all depends on your sons level in mastering the task for example if he already understands the skill then it will take very little time to master. If your son has difficulty with a skill then it may take longer.
On average most students set aside a hour or split it up into 5-10 minutes throughout the day at least from discussions from other students.

Well me being in 5th grade and doing this math, can be difficult. Right now I have gotten about 12 percent in one week. This may seem tough but what I do `is to challenge myself when I am free for the week. Like me doing 1-2 hours a day. this made me get about 15-20 percent done in 5 days and it can make you feel successful. Make sure you don't do it week by week because it can be tiring. Do for one week then don't challenge yourself and the week after that challenge yourself again. The weeks you don't challenge yourself, try to get at least 3 percent.
