I have voted your idea up , I am creating a list for the team that specifically has given feedback on how Khan Academy can improve for students with disabilities including learning. I can't guaratee that this content will be added but I will do my best to escalate your post.

 In the meantime if a student with a Learning disability has troubles reading any Khan Academy content a solution  would be to Cut and paste text to a free text to speech reader work for some students while others prefer automatic readers which can be controlled by user input. 

If your in the US free Screen readering apps can also be a great tool to use helping to have the user understand the Khan Academy content.

After doing some research I found some free resource that may help the user to read.

The Following software is free on computers its been used not only for younger but older children who have struggled to read.

Also there are apps depending on the operating system used for example Itunes and Android both may offer some reading help. Personally I can't recommend some because they are commercial apps but check with their teacher or librarian.

I have a disability myself so I come from a perspective of not being able to speak, to my parents commiting hours to teaching me to read I may have been a little longer in catching up but when I mastered a subject and skill I then was ahead of my class. I admire your dedication to helping your family member without others advocating often students get left behind I owe my parents dedication to why I am successful in life and why I overcome so many challenges. If I hear any word or updates I will notify you.
