Exciting news…Khan Academy has updated its AP Physics 1 course! The course has been expanded and is aligned to the updated Course and Exam Description (CED).

In our updated course, you will find:

Topic coverage tightly aligned to the updated CED, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all required topics.
Practice questions that reflect the style of AP exam questions, helping students prepare effectively.

It’s great to see updates and that Khan Academy is finally introducing a calculus-based physics course. I’d definitely love to see more regular additions of exercises, especially more challenging ones, as well as expanded content in existing courses.

The only downside is that it’s planned for the next few years? That’s very disappointing. Most people using Khan Academy will likely need it now or within the next year or two at most.

It’s frustrating to think that, by the time it's finally released, many of us won’t need it anymore.

On a related note, when will the Organic Chemistry course finally receive a proper revamp? It’s been in limbo for nearly a decade without any practice questions. Meanwhile, Khan Academy India already offers Organic Chemistry content with extensive practice material. Why can’t these resources be integrated into the main Organic Chemistry course with mastery learning features? It’s long overdue for an update that meets the same standards as other subjects on the platform.
