I found out how to get atlas, tesla and artemis badges

KA does have 7500 skills! Each practice problem set is a seperate skill. Once you get the crown for a practice set, you've mastered it. KA so has over 7500 skills.

Thanks for the information!

wait it does?

This is not true, as downloading KA completionist shows you how much you have done.

I mastered this calculation as 100, if I'm wrong please tell me.

If I'm wrong please tell me as  just in math I have over 5k, and I also have completed English, social studies, and way more

Um.... what's the ka completionist?

KA Completionist is a Browser Extension that shows you how many maths skills there are in the site, however it doesn't show other skills outside math content.

I don't like the words u using. I don't understand.

Wingfeather, that is absolutely correct! Actually, as of 2025, there might be 10000 skills.

Scuttlebug Dude (Slash Kamei) Apparently, it's a bit more than 7,000~ a semester ago a moderator told that there was around 7,000 Skills at that time, so I suppose it's a bit more now, probably something around 7,100 or 7,200, but certainly not 8,000 thousand yet. I have Exactly 5,191 proficient skills right now, so u can be sure that it is at least that.

Wingfeather said that in 2023, Scuttlebug dude

Btw, my profile says that I joined on jul 24, 2025, but I joined in June 2021 :). Yes i have Bristlecone :).

When I try to look at your profile here in the Support Community, I don't see anything about when you joined. Are you talking about your profile in the main website, under User Statistics?  Is your "Date joined" information there incorrect??

Is this truly how to get Atlas/Artemis? I've heard it's been confirmed by the KA team somewhere, but for the life of me I can't actually find where.

Atlas yes. Artemis IDK

Why did I respond so late

J'essaie d'obtenir le badge Atlas et Artemis depuis toujours

Incroyable!!!

C'est une grande réussite.

i'm doing kindergarten stuff to get that

ha ha ha. very funny. although... I'm pretty sure kindergarden stuff don't even add up to 500 skills, correct me if I'm wrong

There are 30 skills in the default Kindergarten course.

why does khan academy have a badge for 7500 skill sets, yet they don't have that many. loki that kinda sus cuz it feels like they're hiding something from us. p.s., it can take up to 5 years to do that and who expects to do that. You are also going nonstop to get it done in five years. realistically, if want just crowns and you take breaks to sleep, eat, to streach, etc it could take 12-14 years 🤯🤯🤯😱😱😱. (unless you are cheating of course🤨). Honestly, i think it is a waist of time to echive artemis. atlas i can see 25% of people doing.

There are some badges before the EARTH column that are earned for getting experience points:
10,000 -> Ten to the Fourth
50,000 -> Benjamin Franklin
100,000 -> Ten to the Fifth
250,000 -> Frederick Douglass

(Edit: Some more badges were retired.)

500,000 -> Five Times Ten to the Fifth
750,000 -> Helen Keller
1,000,000 -> Millionaire
2,000,000 -> Ramanujan

So if this is true, if earning such a badge requires 10,000,000 points, Tesla is really similar to "Ten to the Seventh" (which doesn't sound as complicated).

But as someone who has over 2,000,000 points right now, how can I or other users boost points to achieve Tesla?

Watching thousands of unique videos seems to be the only way to achieve Tesla these days, since all the other methods were removed.

True cuz it actually is really complicated

Plz upvote this answer cuz i want a good answer badge and i am a newbie

Arjun,

I think you can only get a good answer badge if you get 10 votes on an Answer in the Discussion area of a video or article in a KA course, not in the Support Community.

If you want the good answer badge, I encourage you to look at existing unanswered Questions in a course you're confident of your knowledge in and do your best to provide good answers.  Then be patient and hope that other users recognize that you provided helpful answers and vote for them.

To look at Questions in a course, go to the main page of the course (that shows all the units), then go down near the end of that page.  Under Course challenge and above the dark blue footer, click on "Community questions".
On left side of the Questions page, you will see some guidelines for giving good answers as well as guidelines for flagging inappropriate posts.  (Since one of the things listed as making a post inappropriate is asking for votes, I suggest not doing that in a course discussion area.)

Do you have any questions about how to get a good answer badge?

Herculean, Galileo, and Is Sal are hidden Black Hole badges, and they have clear descriptions. All it takes is a peek at what the descriptions are on the badge page.

I finally found out why Tesla, Atlas, and Artemis are supposed to be a secret, and whether these rumors were true! In a request that I made weeks ago, a KA voice gave the following response:

While some Black Hole badges like Maelstrom, Galileo, and Is Sal have clear descriptions, Tesla, Atlas, and Artemis intentionally display ??? in their descriptions.

When Black Hole badges were created, these specific badges were envisioned as hidden, legendary milestones for the community to discover naturally over time. Keeping their descriptions as ??? adds an element of mystery and discovery for long-term learners rather than turning them into a daunting, visible checklist.

When badges require immense thresholds (like millions of points or thousands of mastered skills), displaying explicit progress counters can sometimes encourage script automation, botting, or rushing through content. Hiding the exact criteria helps ensure that learners focus on genuine understanding and mastery at their own pace.

The community milestones you mentioned are indeed the long-standing criteria tracked and verified by learners on community resources like the Khan Academy Fandom Wiki - Badges Category

• Tesla: Accumulate 10,000,000 Energy Points
• Atlas: Master 5,000 unique skills

• Artemis: Master 7,500 unique skills
