Student answers to math exercises and quizzes

I need to be able to see my students incorrect answers to exercises and quizzes so that I can try to see where he went wrong in order to know how to better guide him.  It seems like I can go into the assignments and click on the missed item but it only appears to give the correct answer, not his, essentially leaving me with nothing to go on.  Am I missing something or is there actually no way to use a student's missed answers for error analysis?  This is critical in order to help the student fix the core misunderstanding as opposed to just re-feeding him all the videos on the topic.
