I really dislike the new Khan Academy Reimagined student experience. I worked hard for my Energy Points, Badges, and Avatars, and replacing them with Gems makes my old progress feel erased. Gems feel temporary and less meaningful. Please bring back a way for students to see their lifetime Energy Points, old Badges, and Avatars, or at least make it optional to use the old achievement system.

but on my ipad khan acadmey is in an older version, where there is no khanmigo and the layout is different, so when the update hits hopefully on the app you can still use the old version?

I'm not in a classroom, but my KA experience still changed and I can't change it back. (I reported the problem to KA staff 11 days ago; they say it's a glitch that they're investigating. I have no idea if it will ever get fixed, since there's a different problem I reported in March 2025 that hasn't been fixed yet even though it's happened to at least 12 users that I know of.)
I think the KA system is so complicated that not even the KA staff who maintain the system understand it all.
