I'm not sure if this is a problem but every time I go on khan academy it keeps saying that there are notifications and there isn't. When I do get notifications I don't know until a few hours later.
This is an issue I also experience. To my knowledge, it is a side effect of the current project to rewrite the website in a different language. If you would like, you can submit a ticket here for a high chance of a better explanation.
