Does anyone have experience programming with an tablet?

It will be a bit difficult typing, so if you can, it's best for a keyboard. You also will need to scroll very close to the end of the editor in order to actually scroll. Otherwise, you are moving the screen, not the code in the editor.

I have a small amount of experience trying to program on a tablet, and it is kinda hard (as magma said scrolling is a pain), but its okay ish if you have a keyboard, however navigation is still gonna be a slight problem, if it has navigation shortcuts those are a good idea to learn. Hope this helps!

p.s. propping the tablet on something likes is a monitor is definitely a good idea.

I use my cellphone and computer. It's pretty difficult with the phone because when I use the shift or enter buttons it wants to delete the letter or number behind where I pressed it but rather than that it's pretty much the same. 

Can you program on a tablet? Yes.

Is it a good idea? No.
