I am a principal of an elementary school, we have decided to have team teachers in Kindergarten and First Grade. I am looking to see what support I can give our teachers to assist in this effort. However, most of the information that I find references team teaching being with a general ed teacher and a special ed teacher, this is not the case here as we will have two certified general ed teachers in each of these classrooms. Doing it this way is not what has been done traditionally so any assistance in pointing me in the right direction so I can help my staff is welcomed and apprecieated.

Hi Mr. Giles,

I am wondering if you are asking about Team Teaching specifically in relation to using Khan Academy in those classrooms. If I can better understand how your Teams will utilize Khan- then I might be able to better answer this question. I do know that students can have multiple coaches on Khan so Team Teaching is quite easily done when both teachers are coaches and agree on the content/assignments that will be given and the expectations they have of their shared students. If you could give me more specifics, I might be able to give you a more detailed/appropriate answer.
