High School Physics - More simple problems
I’m really appreciating the lecture and demonstration approach of the instructor for the first Unit of the HS Physics course. I feel like I’m understanding the concepts and following along. However, when I then get to a quiz I have two struggles: 1) Simply working problems, like calculating acceleration, calculating net force, etc. and scaffolding up to using them together to solve the multi-step problems covered after Newton’s Second Law calculations and 2) many of the quiz question are multi-part. For example calculating rocket thrust needed to land a rocket. It requires several steps of calculations few of which were quizzed independently before, and the majority of preceding quizzes were not mathematical but were more conceptual and language based. So a “4 Question Quiz” might actually require getting 12 or more answers correct.
Otherwise, I really love the examples in the lessons which feel relevant and applicable and the overall enthusiasm of the instructor.
