Hi Sal,

I really appreciate your effort and excellent videos on the given topic. I think using animation can simplify explanations here specially when one has to explain change in current through coil with change in magnetic flux and so on. motor generator principles can be easily explained with animation and gets better receptivity. Static explanations are cumbersome for tutors too. Hope you include some animations too.

I agree with you 100 %

I have an Ms in EE too .

In fact animations is goog in every education .

Plus simulations .

How do we learn until we go to school, just from streets .

Mojahida - I agree that animation can communicate concepts very nicely. I included a few in some videos on trig functions and complex exponentials. Here's one:

The challenge with animations is the tremendous effort it takes to create one. I settled on using d3.js, learned it, created a few animations and plots. The effort is quite significant compared to the time we spend making a KA-style video. It takes Sal 1-2 hours to make a video. It takes me most of a day. (Sal has 1000's of videos under his belt. I have 50. He's faster.) A from-scratch animation takes at least several days. It's hard to devote that time to animation when it means we're not creating even more new material at a faster clip.
