Dear Khan Academy:  I understand that slide rules look like a strange tool from a prehistoric age ,,, somehow these little sticks of wood or plastic perform weird math alchemy.  But, to see an old-school, gray beard engineer unpretentiously pull a small slide rule from his vest pocket and quickly glide it back & forth with smooth fluidity - and PRESTO, the correct answer - is a work of art ... possibly voodoo.

My recommendation:  that Khan Academy produce a series of Khan-styled, bite-size videos describing the different types of slide rules, who were the geniuses whose fever dreams invented slide rules, how and why these slide rules work ... and, most importantly, how to work a slide rule, i.e. how to properly operate a slide rule and make the various types of calculations, fully using a slide rule's capabilities.
