It will help students that are homeschooled that have trouble making friends since they don't have classmates or go to school like regular khan students

I like this I vote

I think anyone should make friends without getting distracted so we need to make a whole new page for comments for friends, khan academy if this gets 100 votes, you gotta do it

I agree. This would be very nice. As an only child who is homeschooled and isn’t part of any homeschooling group.

I voted you bookworm and homeschooling girl. I think you’re right awesome.

Oh, thanks! I was wondering how I got 2 votes. (1 from you, and 1 from myself)

Do you think that I should report being able to vote for myself?

Cause I’m pretty sure that I shouldn’t be able to…

Thanks y'all for the kind comments I need all the votes and comments possible

Yo-yo, you’re welcome. Also, the second vote is from me bookworm also homeschool girl. I hope you had a little bit too.

Ik bookworm she's the reason why I made this post cause I want all the homeschool kids to make friends without bothering others

Oh you’re welcome, Homeschool Girl.

Thank you again for posting! 😁

Hey check this out! I just found it scrolling through all the posts.

https://support.khanacademy.org/hc/en-us/community/posts/43789088264589-Re-add-backgrounds-on-profiles-add-more-badges-and-monthly-challenges

It sounds really good! I never realized they took down that many badges! Only that there’s a huge gap.
(I didn’t read the whole post. Only the lists of badges)

That will be cool if they bring it back bookworm

Yeah. It would.

it has to be in a way that prevents online bullying etc. like both people (and/or) a guardian allowing/accepting a friend invitation?

i think this is a great idea and i am homeschooled too look at my bio but not all kids are in the same country so we will be active at different times so why don't we make forums for each country that uses khan. PS i live in Australia

I was thinking that there’d be rules, like if someone was being mean or using bad language someone could flag them, and it would go to a guardian, and whoever did it will get a notification and it’ll tell them which rule they broke, and if they break the same rule a number of times then they get a time out or something. Or maybe they send a message to their parents.

I mean, there’s lots of ways. More than I listed here. But I’m pretty sure that if Khan makes this, they’ll also install rules.

I agree with your idea about both sides agreeing to be friends.

Yes! That would be a great idea!
I’m in Canada.
And when I email a friend in England there’s a 7 hour time difference (I think)

There are great idea's i hope something gets done about it and welcome Sid g from America

YES YES YES I SUPPORT THIS IDEA THROUGHLY!

I'm kind of lonely btw, it'll be nice to have a separate chat page

Khan could add following and they can just create, like, a group chat or a global chat

Yeah, that’d be nice.

What’s Khanmigo?
I’ve heard that it’s an AI. So how do you talk to actual real people?

Why do I keep getting “pending approval”?! This is honestly getting AGGRAVATING! 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

And it takes forever to get “approved”.

And I’m not even saying anything weird! Just normal questions!

Alright, just wait until the message that I sent just before this pops up, and then tell me if you see anything wrong with it. 🙄

hey guys i got an idea to get more followers bookworm you can find any vids in grade 4 and 5 and find an off topic post and write like what you wrote with the link in the comments.

How do you go to grade 4 and 5?

Bookworm I was wondering the same thing about pending comments like its my post and there still pending but anyways thanks everyone for the comments I hope this get noticed and they make a group chat so we can have a study group and meet new people all over the world

Yeah, it’s really annoying. I mean, it’s been 14 hours and it’s STILL pending! 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

I think that there’s some kind of web thing that whenever anyone sends anything it goes through that, and maybe specific word sequences or something sets that thing off and it gets blocked, or “pending” until someone checks it and clears it.

Yes, that would be nice. I hope that Khan sees this post too.
