I am going into my Junior year of High school and I've been using Khan academy for over four years for everything. It seems that the only thing Khan Academy doesn't have is an ACT course to take, I feel that this would be most beneficial in general for many people and I was wondering if an ACT prep course is something that I should look out for in the future. Khan Academy has helped me so much in my academic aspects of schooling, I'm hoping that it could also help me here.
Since the SAT and ACT both involve the same skills, you can absolutely use Khan Academy's existing material for math and reading. The math concepts on both tests are very similar (Algebra, Geometry, some Trigonometry). All the practice you do in the SAT Math section and the general math sections on Khan Academy will directly help you on the ACT. The "Writing and Language" part of the SAT prep is practice for the ACT English section, as both tests grammar rules, punctuation, and sentence structure. The SAT Reading practice will help you improve your reading comprehension and ability to analyze passages, which is crucial for the ACT Reading test. However, the SAT doesn't cover the science section, but you can still use high school biology, physics, and chemistry courses on Khan Academy.
