Checking progress on Khan Mappers

Hello,

Can anybody help me answer the following regarding Khan Mappers?

a) How can I best check the students' progress and if they are completing their weekly assigned work? In other words, I would like to see their minutes worked, number of questions attempted, accuracy, etc. each week.

b) When students work in Khan Mappers does it automatically 'link' to their regular Khan account? For example, if a student was asked to complete a 5th grade skill in Mappers would hat work show up in their regular Khan account and count toward their progress in the 5th grade course?

My name is Carol and I'm from the Khan Academy Support Team! I'll do my best to answer your questions.

a) At the moment, the work done in MAPPERS doesn't appear fully on the teacher reports; this means that teachers can't assign specific practices and, therefore, can't see the minutes worked or number of questions attempted for the MAP recommended practices.

b) If students are logged into their account, the work done in MAPPERS will show up in their regular account, yes!
And it is possible that some content available in the MAP recommended practices for that student overlap with the content found in the 5th grade course. To clarify, some exercises are available in different courses, so it might be possible that their work in MAPPERS would count toward their progress in the 5th grade course.
