Not to mention the small things like weird uncollapsing during large-scale indenting, poor memory for collapsed JS sections on reload, the inability to insert CSS comments in certain positions around @keyframes, poor pseudo element animation restart, and the detestable thumbnail saving (where they could literally just use the code that Bluebird already wrote).

The sad fact is that they probably assume that most users won’t get advanced enough to care or that the ones who do will end up leaving KA anyway before long (which they actually do mainly because of the poor support lol).

Could just add a "raw" option to settings to parse webpages literally without any AST transforms. That would also need to disable the auto reload since that has a tendency to run infinite loops while people are in the middle of writing them. Spin-offs should also persist the settings of the original program to make sure they work too.

This would remove the need to update the editor over time since browsers handle the updates themselves.
