The problem is browser independent as far as I know, meaning it happens in Edge, Firefox, and Chrome. It has been an issue for a long time, probably since about 2017, but you are correct that the feature was working in 2016. Unfortunately I don't have a workaround.

So it does not work for anyone? How do others in TEE find which thread a comment notification was from?!

Since my searches did not find it listed as a known bug, I think I'll submit technical support ticket. If they say there is no fix & no workaround, I will strongly encourage them to write it up for others to find in the known bugs.

Like Inger said, this is a known bug that has unfortunately existed since the update to the discussion UI sometime ago. As far as I'm aware, the issue only occurs for comments under CS programs and talk-throughs---I've never experienced this issue in any of the subject areas. It also only appears to be an issue for comments specifically. When I click the link that you posted above, the correct Tips & Thanks post that contains the comment is shown at the top of the page, but the specific comment that the link is supposed to lead too is not highlighted in any way.

As you've already mentioned, it would be best to submit a support ticket for this issue so we can continue to document the issue and its impact on our users.
