Hello,
I am currently planning to enter into 9th grade. I dont know where to start and what areas to study in order to prepare for the placement test. Please let me know what areas i should concentrate on and what specific chapter i may have to concentrate so that I dont waste my time studying unrelated topics.

This is what a typical high school plan looks like:
9th grade - Algebra I
10th grade - Geometry
11th grade - Algebra II
12th grade - Trigonometry/PreCalculus
This varies from person to person. Some schools make you take Algebra I in 8th grade, others don't. This is just what a typical plan looks like. If you have not already taken Algebra I, I would recommend starting there, and working your way through the course. See here on Khan: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra
