I completely agree with you, many others have commented on other threads about this.

Consider upcoming my comment to add second tries on math problems! Maybe the unit test wouldn’t be the place for 2nd tries but practices and quizzes would be great. That way, you can try to fix your mistake without looking at the hint and then just starting over. I’ll upvote this thread because I agree that reset buttons would be fabulous.

Maybe there could be a second try for Quizzes and practices and a reset for unit tests? its just annoying when you get, say the first question wrong and you have to finish the entire thing before you can try to redeem yourself.

To anyone else reading this that is interested in this subject, Please upvote all the posts about this subject so we can get this feature on Khan!

I agree that it is frustrating to have to do an entire unit test especially when you get the first question wrong. However, after some time with this frustration, I have decided that I do not mind, and in fact, appreciate having to redo a test as many times as needed to get 100%. It is for me, great practice and I seem to do better. Having said that, I imagine most people do not have as much time as I do.

I have been trying to achieve 100% on a multiplication and division test and understand how frustrating it is when I make a silly typing mistake which means I have to repeat the entire 31 question test to resolve. If you were to do a math test in school or university you would have the opportunity to look over your answers before handing it in. Why doesn't Khan Academy replicate this in their tests. We should not have to grind through long exams repeatedly to correct silly errors.

Even now, doing physics test and messing up 1 problem, I end up just spamming "1" in every single answer box to hurry up and start over again. They need to implement this feature, like it levels down every skill per question not answered, so we can quickly try again.

I'm not a kid, I am a parent, and my kid has been complaining about this a lot. Then he started hacking khan academy JUST BECAUSE of this. When I found out my kid stopped doing khan academy. When I tell him too he refuses. So if this doesn't get fixed we will stop doing khan academy.

It's been over 4 years of these kinds of complaints I don't think KA is gonna even try.
