Can I present a KA lesson to a group?

Hi,

I work for a non-profit in Alaska and in the summer time we have more children and young adults around (staff kids and client kids).

We don't have the ability to have everyone on a computer or tablet throughout the day or for some of them, even at home outside of our offices.

Is there a way to present lessons and such to a group of kids and young adults?

I'm fine if it reflects on my account, I'd rather be able to do this for them so they're able to learn throughout the summer and be ready for the fall but also I want to be able to contribute to their time spent here and make it more enjoyable.

I would like to work with them on learning materials and answering questions (I could do print offs and such afterwards or something). If anyone has ideas, please let me know.

What I have done in the past is to show the video on my account using a projector, and then do the questions together. Students use whiteboards to solve, and then we choose the answer together.

OHQ Using Khan Academy to Show a Lesson to a Group....Hi Daniel. I find it hard to show Khan Academy to a whole class group. What looks good from 2 ft away (....like, an individual looking at a monitor....) looks terrible from 8 to 10 ft or more away. For instance, the videos are on a dark background with text written as thin colored lines written on the dark background. This is hard to read and some colors are not readable. The practice problems are better.....light background mostly black text. However, often the text on the practice problems are too small to read from 8 to 10 feet away. To use Khan Academy lessons for the whole class, I use the videos as a model for how to teach a topic, then I walk through the practice problems with the class. Students who cannot read from their seats can sit on the floor in the front of the class. On the other hand, I do find Khan Academy works well in small groups where everyone in the qroup can see the screen on my laptop.
