I feel that music is a very important part of people's lives. I have seen many students give up on music entirely because they couldn't understand complex music theory. I think adding a more complex music theory course would open up some many doors for people who want to aspire to be better in the musical arts. Things such as minor scales, complex rhythms, transposition, and chords are not taught properly which can cause students to give up on music. This saddens me so much and I would love to see Music Theory Courses.
