Hi Crystal,

We introduced a pinning posts feature a few months ago with the new "Trending" sort option as a way to help surface important posts in the discussions area. The ability to pin posts is only available to site moderators however, so regular users cannot pin their own posts.

We've been pinning sub threads as we've come across them in order to help keep them at the top of the discussions! That way folks don't have to rely on votes to keep it at the top, and it will appear at the top for all of the sort options.

If anyone else wants their sub thread pinned, feel free to share the link to your sub thread here and I can pin it for you!
