Linking my children's home accounts with their school accounts?

Hi,

I am starting school with my kids next week using Prenda. I am their parent and their teacher, and I hoping to merge their personal accounts that are under me as their child with their account that I was just added to as their teacher through Prenda. I know it might not be possible, but my kids hoping the merge won't delete the progress they have made in their home/parent accounts when they become my "student", but I understand if this isn't possible. Is it possible to merge the two accounts? Thanks!

Hi Whitney,

Unfortunately isn't not possible to merge accounts or transfer progress between accounts. However, you might be able to remove the Prenda account and use their home child account exclusively instead?

I don't know how Prenda works, so I can't say whether or not this would be possible, but it is possible to add your children's current accounts to your Teacher Dashboard so that you can use the teacher functionality with those accounts in addition to the parent features. You may need to reach out to their support team here to find out if you can link an existing KA account with their systems.
