Hi,

I'm a special education teacher new to Khan Academy. My resource students are working on assignments sometimes 2 or 3 grades below their placement. Two questions. 1. Is there a way to assign math problems to them below their grade level without the assignment title denoting the grade level? e.g. a fifth-grader working on 3rd-grade material 2. Ok, so I'm totally new to this. All of my students are assigned to my Google classroom but I want each student to have their own assignment. They are not working on the same goals. How do I assign each student their assignment? Do I need to create individual google classrooms? Thank you for any help you can provide!

No, there is not currently a way to hide the name of an assignment. However, you may be able to find much of the same content in other courses that do not denote the grade level in the title, such as the Arithmetic course.

To answer your second question, you can assign each student in your class whatever separate assignments you like. Simply uncheck the Select all box from the popup and then check the boxes with the names of the students you wish to assign the material to, as explained in this article: https://support.khanacademy.org/hc/en-us/articles/115000772311-How-do-I-create-assignments-
