SAT practice score higher than before even though more questions wrong

I recently took my second practice test on Khan Academy and ended getting more problems wrong than my first practice test on all sections except math no calc (no change in #questions answered correctly). The issue I have is that I ended up getting a higher score than on my first practice test which doesn't seem right.

My scores for the first and second test

SAT practice #1: 1420

SAT practice #2: 1480

My question is does Khan Academy score differently for different practice tests or was this more of glitch that wasn't supposed to happen?

I completely understand your concern around the grading of your practice SAT. While we cannot mirror the exact experience of taking the SAT, our practice content is taken directly from the official SAT to ensure that your practice is effective for the real exam. We also do our best to mirror the grading scale on the official SAT.

I would highly recommend taking a look at this article that details scoring specifically on the SAT, as Khan Academy will score your practice exams using the same scale. As I understand, if you leave a question blank because you cannot answer it or do not know the correct answer, this will not award nor take away any points. However, if you answer a question incorrectly, you will lose points from your overall score.
