Need an option to automatically assign previous work to a new student!

Can Khan include an option to automatically assign all work to a new student in the class, if it was previously assigned to the whole class before the student entered? We often get students transferred in after 20 days and it takes quite a bit of time to edit each assignment to be assigned to the new student. Also, if the student was assigned those assignments in another class prior to the transfer, could there be an option to automatically transfer all of his assignments and data to the new class? We also get tons of students switching class periods and/or teachers at the semester and need the assignment data to transfer with them.

This is really important to make sure students don't lose out on what they have already completed and so that teachers can start at the beginning of each semester.

Hi Kim,

I have great news to share with you!

Previously, when new students joined a class, teachers received a notification to update new students’ accounts with all active content. This required teachers to take the extra step of logging in and clicking on the notification so that new students could begin working on assignments.

As of February 22, 2021, new students will automatically receive all active class-wide assignments as soon as they join a class!
