Enrolling Students and Assigning Work - new teacher to distance learning

I believe students have to add you as their teacher using a code that appears with you. Afterwards, you can assign homework. Students will be notified about the homework on their assignment page and also via their emails.

If you added your students via Google Classroom, your students will need to go to the sign up page and sign up using the Google sign-in option. They will need to use the same Google account that they use to access Google Classroom. After they sign up, they should automatically be added to your class and connected to your account, so there's no need for them to enter your class code.
