I've known of this method for sometime, and I'm worried that it will actually affect the site. One of my students recently admitted to doing this (after a little bit of prodding I will admit, but he was remorseful). I would like to deter this.

The programming architecture would have to be revamped; the structure of each problem is fantastic, but the values should constantly change (which would require a great deal of programming).

Problems in K-2 can probably remain the same from what I am able to see, but the issue really starts at 3-12 & A1-DE.

As large of an undertaking as this would be, I think the outcome would be worth it.

I'll bring this up a couple more times until it is addressed.

This is so sad to be honest. Is so sad to see this young people think in that way. I never thought like that, but I wish I had interest in learning when I was younger.

Certainly, but you perform what you are taught.

I do believe that your environment plays a role in how you view education, so it needs to be a positive environment.

I think many young people think in this way because of the influences around them, but I also feel that this may be a reason you didn't have as strong an interest in education as well.

Khan's support staff have responded to me, so I hope they address the issue.

Great Jonathan. Professors like you really change the world. I agree, the surroundings (both your physical surrounding) and now the online pop-star youtubers enworse the situation. Many of them appear as being successfull (in the sense of earning a lot of money by only playing videogames and being lazy) and having bad manners. Hope you keep teaching in this great way and trusting Khan Academy. Regards.
