I would like to continue learning mathematics and I'm particularly interested in the maths that underpins data and forecasting.
I have mastered Pre-algebra and Algebra basics.
Would appreciate guidance on what courses to take next.
I live in New Zealand, so I find some of the course names (which refer to various grades, tests, etc, quite confusing). So apologies if the order should be obvious. 🤔

Phil,
No worries. If you have mastered Pre-Algebra and Algebra Basics, you shouldn't need to worry about the references to grade level (1st Grade, 4th Grade, etc.).
At this point, you have two options. You could take (in order) Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II or you could take Integrated Math 1, Integrated Math 2, and Integrated Math 3. Each group of 3 covers the same material. The difference is that each Integrated Math course covers both Algebra and Geometry.
After that, you could so straight down the list (click the Courses Drop-Down in the header on any KA page to see the list of High School and College Mathematics). You can skip AP®︎/College Calculus AB as all of that material (and more) is covered in AP®︎/College Calculus BC. These two courses are preparation for Advanced Placement (AP) Exams. Typically, US colleges accept success on the Calculus AB exam as passing Calculus I and success on the Calculus BC exam as passing Calculus I and Calculus II.
