Hi cmseith Im glad for you, I made a profile and new email only for me on Khan academy im 36yr old I love to learn, im from Scotland uk I prefer Khan academy to the BBC version alot more inventive, intresting and easier to use, well I am going down the grades and the sections, like from early maths to pure advanced maths, I am doing it to brush up on my knowledge that did not get a chance to or was not good at in school Im doing it level by level like from early maths to advanced math and pure maths, yes I love maths, and then maybe I can with othere subjects, dedicating myself to learning this time, hopefull I can become a teacher or coach teaching othere people with a learning some day maybe on here, as my math knowlege is not perfect just reached pr-algebra, basic algebra section so right now im not sure what age section I could coach, I was thinking maybe there could be discreete, pure, applied mathamatics and astro physics and quantum mechanics on Khan academy one day or maybe I missed something.

@Pauline Taylor - That's great!  My kids have been using Khan for 4 years now, so it is a marathon, rather than a spring.  You might also want to try statistics before calculus.  It would come after Algebra I.  Not sure if statistics should come before our after geometry.  You could figure that out in Khan's "knowledge map"

There are so many opportunities in data science, Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence these days.  Even if you aren't one of the Phd's there will be lots of need for folks who understand statistics and data analysis.

Much appreciated!  Pretty amazing how much he could cover with Khan,  never having seen pre-calc or calc in a classroom.    

Do you know I would love to see the most complicated mathamatical sub in history I saw something like it looked like 2 fractions and under the two fractions was a fraction and I can`t remember where it was, if there is one on Khan academy I would love to see the most strangest and complicated sum in the world just out of curiosity, I find system equation rather difficult, I am begining to understand but I remember on my old profile I found that hard to understand, but maybe now I can tr again seen as im takeing learning more seriously.

My dad flunked out of college 3 or 4 times and returned after a decade.  Engineering major.  Masters in math.  Professional astronomical-mathematician-programmer working for NORAD. Dream big and work for it.  Consistency - keep up a streak.  Don't skip steps from arithmetic on.  You got this!
