Hi KA team,

I have been writing a series of stories about my experience as a 9-year volunteer in a rural school in Nayarit. The stories, published weekly in MEDIUM, an online magazine, are centered around one rural school’s attempts to integrate online learning into the curriculum, beginning with the Khan Academy. In the early days of our project (2012), I contacted your team and got a good tip (as this story acknowledges).

Hello Diane, thanks so much for writing in and letting us know about your progress! The article is quite interesting, giving me a better understanding of rural schooling and taking things "step by step"; good advice indeed. =)

Hi Diane,
Jett just made me aware of your posting all I can say your determination has help youth who little access to education resources have the ability to learn. Also this clearly shows that we have allot of work ahead of us to further grow free education to anyone and everyone. It's quite difficult when there are limitations with technology in rural areas but Thanks to your story it helps us all see things in perspective including me in how lucky I have access to technology.
