No, I mean have a conversation, back and forth, directly with a guardian, like you and I are doing right now. I don't believe the support ticket does that - it's just a single question + response. 

You can still reply to a support ticket after we have responded, you just have to do so within a certain amount of time (7 days I think) otherwise it will automatically be closed.

A support agent that is also part of the moderation team will be the one that gets assigned to the ticket, so they should be able to answer most of your questions directly.
