BRING BACK THE OLD LAYOUT!!!

The update is terrible. There are no long-term goals, only short-term goals that are just absolutely disgusting. I worked hard on earning those badges. Now, whoosh, they're gone. The entire layout is hard to navigate and is frankly disgusting. It is too full of bright colors and round shapes (this is a personal thing, but I have a personal hatred for hexagons). You say you're making it less gamified, but you're also saying it's more gamified. What a dumb oxymoron. Anyway, everything is so round. Round shapes may be "pleasing" to the eye, but they are highly distracting. The attempt to look "modern" is ruining everything. Modern isn't always good. Khan had a nice layout, with nice sharp corners that made it feel textbook-themed, sort of. Now, it looks like a game for two-year-olds. No, even two-year-olds would hate it.

The UI overhaul is genuinely distracting. I'm not trying to be the "cool person" who frowns on new things. I am simply trying to learn, which this thing is blocking me from doing.

Then there's the issue of navigation. Why is settings more findable than courses?! The nine customizable courses were so helpful. I can't believe I took them for granted. Now I have to lock in like a hunter to get to high school chemistry. 

The "gems". They're just bad. Energy points were a lifetime tracker to show how awesome you were. Now, we have pink (pink!) hexagons (hexagons!) that are temporary to track our stuff. What?! Apparently, they can be used to decorate Khanmigo, a ridiculous use. And anyway, why are they letting a hallucinating chatbot  TEACH THE NEXT GENERATION?! Teachers should be humans that can properly understand things, not a block of fancy metal with a vague understanding of English. 

I get that the update could be helpful for some users. I'm not one of them. I wish there was a switch to toggle between serious learner mode and immature 5-year-old mode.
