Oh noes!

You're missing either a } or another property:value; pair following @media screen and (min-width: 40em)

i am getting this message with my blog project in html/css making webpages. i checked my code in an outside editor and in firefox but i can't find anything wrong in the code

If it does that, then the program is sometimes confused. It will still run the way you want it to if you already know what you are doing. It also depends on what type of code you are using compared to what khan academy uses as its base program.
