Input the pi sign on calculator
I use an iPad Pro to do lessons, but I can’t get the pi sign to engage when I open it up from the top right corner of the “x” button, and thus cannot input the correct answer. Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Hello, stevecarlton80 and Anders Johansson!
I understand that it seems like π is nowhere to be found in the app. I'll do my best to help you!
For illustrative purposes, let's use x and y as the variables. In order to toggle between variables using the Khan Academy mobile app, you need to press and hold the x-button (or the variable shown by default in the exercise) and select y.
I hope this helps! Thank you so much for being a part of Khan Academy!

I have the same problem. When working through the Khan app on a cell phone or iPad, clicking the answer box in order to enter an expression brings up a number keypad and a selection of math functions that does not include the pi symbol. The Khan Help Center suggests to simply type "pi" (in words) in these situations, but I also can't seem to access a keyboard with letters when engaged in an answer box. Any suggestions?
