Where does the course Arithmetic fit in? Why is there both Early Math and Grade 1?

In regards to Early Math, please note that the Early math course is considered a combination of our Kindergarten, 1st-grade, and 2nd-grade content.

That said, the Early Math course will not be identical to the Kindergarten, 1st-grade and 2nd-grade courses. It's not a replacement for these courses mastery goals; 100% mastery of Early Math does not mean 100% mastery of grades K-2.

The reason for this is because the Early Math content is not identical to the content you will find on other places of the platform (some of the problems might be reused, but not all of them).
